Privacy policy
Locum Bot is a private automation built and used by one person, Ed Clark, on his own Google account. It is not offered to the public and nobody else can sign in to it.
What it accesses
- Gmail in the owner's account: to find shift adverts from a fixed list of senders and to send replies and alert emails.
- Google Calendar in the owner's account: to check availability and to add placeholder events.
How the data is used
- The text of a shift advert is sent to Anthropic's API so that the dates and times can be read out of it. Nothing else from the mailbox or calendar is sent.
- All other processing happens inside the owner's Google account.
- No data is sold, shared for advertising, or used for any purpose other than the one described here.
Storage
Locum Bot keeps a short list of message identifiers so that it does not handle the same email twice. It stores no email or calendar content of its own.
Other people's data
Locum Bot does not collect data from visitors to this website or from any other person's Google account.
Google API Services
Locum Bot's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
